D.I.

D.I. is a punk rock band formed in Fullerton, California in 1981 by singer Casey Royer, who had earlier drummed for the Adolescents and Social Distortion. The band plays fast Southern California hardcore punk, and Royer has remained its only constant member. "Horse Bites Dog Cries" (1986) is generally regarded as their best album, and bands such as The Offspring and Pennywise count among those they influenced.
