David Francey

David Francey is a Scottish-born Canadian folk singer-songwriter known for documenting working people's lives. Born in Ayrshire, he immigrated to Canada at twelve and spent decades in rail yards and construction before his 1999 debut, "Torn Screen Door." He has won four Juno Awards and the SOCAN Folk Music Award across thirteen albums. His concerts pair openhearted singing with storytelling and keen-eyed songs of real people and places.
