DARKSIDE
dance/electronicexperimentalpsychedelic
Darkside is an American electronic band formed in Providence, Rhode Island, in 2011 by Nicolás Jaar and guitarist Dave Harrington. Their music blends electronica with experimental, downtempo and ambient elements, which Jaar called the closest thing to rock and roll he had done. After "Psychic" (2013) the duo paused in 2014, then returned with "Spiral" (2021) and "Nothing" (2025).
