Daniel Vila

Daniel Vila is a Florida-born multi-instrumentalist based in New York City who builds ambient soundscapes from saxophone, environmental samples and electronics. His meditative pieces are inspired by the search for calm amid the city's overwhelming acoustic environment. He often works in collaboration with dance, theater and film, and some evenings creates his soundscapes live in New York's streets and subways.
