Cold Cave is the electronic music project founded by Wesley Eisold in 2007. Its sound is a collage of darkwave, noise and synthpop, drawing on early 1980s post-punk and synthpop such as Joy Division and New Order. Albums include "Love Comes Close" (2009) and "Cherish the Light Years" (2011) on Matador Records and "Passion Depression" (2024). Cold Cave opened for Nine Inch Nails on their 2014 European tour.
