Clayton Nile Young

Clayton Nile Young is a multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, and storyteller based in Charleston, West Virginia. He blends alternative country, bluegrass, and folk into a sound he calls Holler Poetry, raw and emotionally driven. His debut album "Della" is named after his daughter; he taught himself fiddle while recovering from a rock climbing accident. Live shows are patient, intimate performances steeped in mountain tradition and personal history.
