City of the Sun is an instrumental band from New York City, formed in 2011 by guitarist John Pita. Their acoustic, wordless music draws on post-rock, flamenco, gypsy jazz and indie rock. They were discovered busking in New York and played the TED conference in 2013, then released "to the sun and all the cities in between" (2016) and a self-titled album in 2020.
