Chris Housman is a Nashville country singer-songwriter from a cattle farm near Dodge City, Kansas. His songs pair traditional country with openly queer themes in close-to-the-bone lyrics. His 2024 debut "Blueneck" sent its title track to No. 1 on iTunes country and earned a GLAAD Outstanding Breakthrough Music Artist nomination. He began playing fiddle in his family's Wild West show band before building an openly LGBTQ+ country career.
