Chessa Rich is a Durham, North Carolina singer-songwriter from Burlington who blends atmospheric pop with piano, synths, and jagged guitars. Her debut album "Deeper Sleeper" in 2023 on Sleepy Cat Records explores an undiagnosed sleep disorder through shadowy, dreamlike songs. She has recorded with Hiss Golden Messenger and Tift Merritt and released a 2018 EP produced by Nick Sanborn. Live sets shift between ear-candy pop and intimate confessionals.
