Cheap Trick is an American rock band from Rockford, Illinois, fronted by singer Robin Zander and guitarist Rick Nielsen. Their mix of 1960s guitar pop, 1970s hard rock and punk energy helped set the template for power pop. The live album "Cheap Trick at Budokan" (1979) went triple platinum, and "The Flame" (1988) became their only number one hit. The band entered the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2016.
