Casey Chesnutt is a Texas-based country singer, U.S. Marine Corps veteran and the son of 1990s country artist Mark Chesnutt. His modern country takes its cues from the Texas Red Dirt scene rather than his father's sound, with Cross Canadian Ragweed as his biggest influence alongside Reckless Kelly, Randy Rogers, Stoney LaRue and Wade Bowen. He is signed to Clearwater Records.
