Canned Heat
rockpop
Canned Heat is an American blues rock band formed in Los Angeles in 1965 by blues enthusiasts Alan Wilson and Bob Hite. Their sound blends electric boogie and country-blues revival with jams rooted in pre-war blues traditions. Hits such as "On the Road Again," "Going Up the Country," and "Let's Work Together" carried them through the late-1960s festival circuit, including Woodstock. Live, they pair classic blues repertoire with driving boogie energy.
