Busta Rhymes

hip-hop/rapurban

Busta Rhymes is the stage name of Trevor George Smith Jr., a Brooklyn-born rapper and producer raised on Long Island. His rapid, ragga-inflected delivery and complex, humorous lyrics helped define East Coast hip-hop's golden era. He rose with Leaders of the New School before solo hits like "Woo Hah!! Got You All in Check" (1996). Live, his commanding presence and theatrical energy make him a festival-headline force.
