Ron "Bumblefoot" Thal is an American guitarist, songwriter, and producer from Brooklyn who performs as Bumblefoot. His hard rock and progressive work features fretless guitar and an inventive "thimble technique." He was a Guns N' Roses lead guitarist from 2006 to 2014 and played on "Chinese Democracy" (2008). Live, he is known for virtuosic solo spots and genre-spanning musicianship.
