Brooks & Dunn are an American country duo of Kix Brooks and Ronnie Dunn, formed in Nashville in 1988. Their neotraditional country blends honky-tonk, mainstream country and rock, with contrasting vocal styles. "Brand New Man" (1991) went sextuple-platinum and sent its first four singles to number one, and "Boot Scootin' Boogie" helped revive line dancing. Their arena tours and dynamic live performances helped define 1990s and 2000s country.
