Bríet is an Icelandic pop singer from Reykjavík who sings in both Icelandic and English. Her songs blend Scandinavian pop with country touches, with break-ups as the main lyrical theme. Her album "Kveðja, Bríet" (2020) and the song "Rólegur kúreki" brought her Artist of the Year, Song of the Year and Pop Album of the Year honors in Iceland in 2021. She first performed at Iceland Airwaves at 15.
