Brian Newman is an American trumpeter, vocalist, and bandleader based in New York City. He performs jazz standards and the Great American Songbook with a swinging crooner voice and bop-influenced trumpet. He arranged and performed on Lady Gaga and Tony Bennett's "Cheek to Cheek" (2014) and "Love for Sale" (2021). His 2026 album "Songs for Lonely Lovers" showcases intimate live sets he often shares with wife Angie Pontani.
