Braxton Cook

Braxton Cook is an American alto saxophonist, vocalist, and songwriter who blends jazz, R&B, and soul into a progressive hybrid voice. His recordings weave alto sax lines with soulful singing, from "Somewhere in Between" (2017) to "Not Everyone Can Go" (2025). A Juilliard graduate, he has toured with Christian Scott and performed with Jon Batiste, Rihanna, and Mac Miller. Live, he leads intimate jazz-R&B sets shaped by personal transition and new fatherhood.
