Book of Love is an American synth-pop band formed in New York City in 1983, led by singer Susan Ottaviano and keyboardist Ted Ottaviano. Their new wave and dance-pop sound gave club hits such as "Boy," "I Touch Roses" and "Pretty Boys and Pretty Girls." They opened for Depeche Mode before their debut album "Book of Love" (1986), and their song "Sunny Day" appears in "The Silence of the Lambs."
