Blackie and the Rodeo Kings is a Canadian roots band from Hamilton, Ontario, founded in 1996 by Tom Wilson, Stephen Fearing and Colin Linden. The group began as a tribute to folk artist Willie P. Bennett and took its name from his 1978 album "Blackie and the Rodeo King". Its sound blends folk rock and alternative country with blues, and "Kings of Love" (1999) won a Juno Award in 2000.
