Betty Hammerschlag

Betty Hammerschlag is a lo fi song project working in what she calls cloudfolk, a hazy meeting point of folk, dream pop and ambient. The music leans on tape hiss, saturation and dropouts, with delicate guitars and processed vocals drifting in and out of focus. The album "Psycho Summer" (2026) was assembled from cassette recordings and mixed on a Fostex four track.
