Bassvictim is a London electronic duo formed in 2022 by vocalist Maria Manow and producer Ike Clateman, who met as students at Goldsmiths. Their music is built on clanging percussion and howling synths, and critics place them at the front of an electroclash revival. After the EPs "Basspunk" (2024) and "Basspunk 2" (2025), their album "Forever" (2025) made Pitchfork's list of the year's 50 best albums.
