Automatic is a post-punk rock duo from Los Angeles, formed in 2017 and signed to Stones Throw. Songs pair synth-driven textures with bass and dual vocals in a post-punk and no-wave style. The debut album "Signal" arrived in 2021, followed by "Excess" in 2022 and "Is It Now?" in 2025. They began in L.A.'s DIY scene, where the members met before their first live sets in 2017.
