Aurora Halal in New York

Aurora Halal is a Brooklyn producer and DJ who created the Mutual Dreaming party series and Sustain-Release festival. Her hardware live and DJ sets blend shadowy psychedelia with metallic dancefloor intensity that feels playful, dark, and emotionally vulnerable. Since 2010 she has championed forward-thinking underground dance through DIY events and a residency at Nowadays in New York. Her performances work both body and mind at clubs worldwide, including regular sets at Berghain in Berlin.
