Angel is an American glam and hard rock band from Washington, D.C., known for flamboyant white-satin costumes and theatrical arena shows. Their sound blends glam rock, hard rock, and progressive rock, shifting from early prog toward pop-oriented albums. Gene Simmons helped bring them to Casablanca Records; debut "Angel" (1975) and "Sinful" (1979) anchor their catalog before a 1981 split and later reunion album "Risen" (2019).
