Andy Stott

Andy Stott is a British electronic producer from Manchester, England, associated with the Modern Love label. He slowed and distorted dub techno into battered, bass-heavy forms, with submerged vocals and flashes of hardcore, ambient, and jungle. "Passed Me By" and "We Stay Together" (2011) marked a breakthrough; "Luxury Problems" (2012) and "Never the Right Time" (2021) expanded his greyscale, melancholy songcraft. His live sets deliver brutally physical yet eerily beautiful club music.
