Amy Denio

Amy Denio is a multi-instrumental composer, songwriter and improviser from Seattle, working in avant-garde jazz, experimental rock and free improvisation. Largely self-taught, she plays voice, accordion, saxophone and guitar. She founded the Tiptons Sax Quartet in 1987 and co-founded Tone Dogs, whose "Ankety Low Day" appeared in 1991. Since 1988 she has performed at festivals across Europe, Asia and South America.
