Amjad Ali Khan

Ustad Amjad Ali Khan is an Indian Hindustani classical sarod maestro from Gwalior in a sixth-generation Senia Bangash lineage. His playing is prized for clear ekhara taans and distinctive fingernail technique. He received the Padma Shri, Padma Bhushan, and Padma Vibhushan, and performed at Carnegie Hall and Royal Albert Hall. With sons Amaan and Ayaan Ali Bangash, he tours as The Sarod Trilogy, bridging tradition and innovation.
