Amelie Quartet

Amelie Quartet is an acoustic ensemble that pairs Parisian jazz with tango. The jazz side follows the Hot Club tradition of quicksilver guitar runs, percussive rhythm and improvisation, while the tango repertoire runs from Piazzolla to the traditional dance tangos of Francisco Canaro and Anibal Troilo. The line up mixes guitar, violin, accordion, bass, piano and voice.
