Alicia Villarreal is a Mexican singer, born in 1971, who became the lead singer of Grupo Límite in 1994. After nearly eight years with the band she went solo, releasing her first solo album "Soy Lo Prohibido" in 2001. Her work has earned a Grammy nomination and two Latin Grammy Awards, one with Grupo Límite and one as a solo artist.
