Alex Koford

Alex Koford is a California-based singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist who spent over a decade performing with Grateful Dead bassist Phil Lesh and the Terrapin Family Band. His own songs blend psychedelic rock and Americana with an indie-folk touch, citing influences such as Fruit Bats, Hiss Golden Messenger and Paul McCartney. His shows often open up into extended jams in the Dead tradition.
