rockpop
Alesana is an American post-hardcore band from Raleigh, North Carolina, formed in 2004. Their music pairs screamed and clean vocals with melodic hooks, heavy breakdowns, and literary-inspired lyrics. "On Frail Wings of Vanity and Wax" (2006) and concept album "The Emptiness" (2010) drew on Greek mythology and Edgar Allan Poe. Live shows channel theatrical storytelling with high-energy dual-vocal performances.
