Al Di Meola

Al Di Meola is an American guitarist from Jersey City known for virtuosic jazz fusion and world music spanning five decades. His playing blends technical speed with Latin, flamenco, and Mediterranean influences. He rose with Chick Corea's Return to Forever before solo albums such as Land of the Midnight Sun (1976) and Elegant Gypsy (1977).
