Agnostic Front

Agnostic Front are a hardcore punk band formed in New York City in 1980, widely called the godfathers of New York hardcore. They pioneered crossover thrash, welding punk speed to metal riffing. The debut "Victim in Pain" (1984) is regarded as the first New York hardcore album, and "Cause for Alarm" (1986) entered Decibel magazine's Hall of Fame. Roger Miret wrote the lyrics to "One Voice" (1992) while imprisoned.
