Afroman is the stage name of American rapper Joseph Foreman, known for comedy hip hop built on humor and storytelling. His 2000 breakout "Because I Got High" earned a Grammy nomination for Best Rap Solo Performance and later chart success through The Good Times. Albums such as Freedom of Speech extend a catalog of playful, narrative songs. Live, he blends hip-hop wit and singalongs in a party show built around those hits.
