8ball & MJG
hip-hop/rap
8Ball & MJG are a Memphis hip-hop duo from Orange Mound, pairing Premro "8Ball" Smith with Marlon "MJG" Goodwin. Their sound helped define Dirty South rap with contrasting laid-back and aggressive flows over Southern grooves. Their 1993 debut "Comin' Out Hard" and 2004 album "Living Legends" anchored their national breakthrough. Live shows showcase a catalog of Southern hip-hop classics.
