12 Stones is an American rock band formed in 2000 in Mandeville, Louisiana, fronted by singer Paul McCoy. They play post-grunge and alternative metal, with lyrics that often turn on resilience. Their self-titled debut arrived in 2002, followed by "Potter's Field" (2004), "Anthem for the Underdog" (2007), "Beneath the Scars" (2012) and "Picture Perfect" (2017). McCoy also sang on Evanescence's "Bring Me to Life" (2003).
