The Market Arts Festival 2026
The Market Arts Festival, usually just called The Market, is a community festival that started in East Oakland and brings together local DJs, visual artists and small vendors for an afternoon of music, hand-made goods and food. It is put on by the Oakland collective No Steps Backwards Presents. The 2026 edition marks the festival five-year anniversary and moves indoors to Crybaby on Telegraph Avenue on Sunday, September 20, running from 1 to 6 PM with DJ Sandio, DJ Rell, JC-Caution and J-Blenz on the decks. The event is all ages and includes raffles and giveaways.
