MUTEK Montréal is an annual festival of electronic music and digital arts, founded in Montreal in 2000 by Alain Mongeau. Sound and light have been central to its program from the start, with a focus on experimental and audiovisual performance. It is the flagship of a network of MUTEK editions abroad, including Mexico City since 2003. The six-day festival is usually held in late August.
