Dark Wave Festival is a one-day outdoor tribute festival at Garden Amphitheatre in Garden Grove, Orange County. The all ages bill is built around Southern California tribute bands covering the core of 1980s goth and new wave: Ultra Mode for Depeche Mode, Eyeliner for Bauhaus, Pictures Of You for The Cure, Nocturna for Siouxsie and the Banshees and Joy Revision for Joy Division. Around them play original darkwave, synth-pop and post-punk acts from the local scene, with sets running through the afternoon and evening on two stages. The 2026 edition takes place on Sunday, October 25.
