LORNE B - Venus in Foil b2b Sergio SP

Some things are simply too good not to share.

For over two decades, Lorne B has been a dear friend, mentor, and one of our favourite selectors to grace a dance floor. Hailing from the beautiful Interior of British Columbia, he’s spent years digging deep, connecting communities, and developing a sound that moves effortlessly through the outer edges of house, dub, psychedelic rhythms, and everything in between.

This past summer at Bass Coast, somewhere in the middle of one of his sets, Emily and I looked at each other with the same thought: Toronto needs to hear this.

And so, here we are.

Lorne has a way of weaving together sounds that feel both familiar and completely unexpected. Deep selections, hypnotic rhythms, stacked grooves, and an undeniable understanding of the dance floor. The kind of DJ who reminds you why you fell in love with this music in the first place.

He’s coming to town for a visit, and we couldn’t resist the opportunity to gather some friends, turn up the sound, and let him do his thing.

Join us at Bambi’s for a night of deep music, psychedelic explorations, and plenty of movement.
