Tinzo + JOJO

Morning Choir presents New York's sibling duo TINZO & JOJO, co-founders of Book Club Radio, for a night of indie dance, house, and soul rooted in unapologetic joy and radical inclusivity.
These Filipino-American siblings have built one of New York's most beloved underground communities through their YouTube channel and party series Book Club Radio, creating a space where music, documentary storytelling, and dancefloor culture collide. Tinzo's queer-rooted sound draws from indie dance, house, and soul to craft sets that celebrate unapologetic joy and LGBTQIA+ experience with a warmth and depth that's impossible to replicate. With a background spanning performance, digital marketing, and event production, their commitment to inclusivity within live music runs deeper than aesthetics.
Jojo brings a uniquely cinematic lens to the decks, seamlessly weaving their expertise as an award-winning documentary filmmaker and creator of the PBS music documentary series Sound Field into a DJ approach that tells stories through beats. Together they represent the kind of community-driven artistry that transcends genre, creating spaces where everyone belongs and every moment feels intentional.
From Brooklyn warehouses to Durham's most intimate warehouse setting, TINZO & JOJO bring the inclusive energy and soulful creativity that's building something genuinely special in New York's underground scene. This is house music as community and celebration.
Expect indie dance grooves, soulful house energy, and the kind of joyful intentionality that transforms a dance floor into a safe space for everyone.
