Fronted by dynamic founding member and singer-songwriter Billy Joe Huels, the band has earned a reputation as one of the Pacific Northwest’s most beloved and enduring acts. Most recently, the group released their 2025 EP, Butterflies. Recorded at Hollers Analog Studio in Malaga, Spain, via Sleazy Records, the 4-song collection captures the band’s raw, vintage energy in pure analog form. This followed their 2024 full-length studio album, All the Beauty In Between. Produced by Ryan Leyva (aka Johnny Nails) at Seattle’s Studio Litho, the album showcased a sophisticated mix of twangy roadhouse vibes and surf-inspired anthems wrapped around Huels’ personal narratives.
