About the concert
The 24th annual Chicago Gypsy Jazz Fest Celebrating the music of Django Reinhardt, and the Gypsy spirit in music. This concert kicks off the festival with new artists and longtime favorites. Gypsy violin, cimbalom, guitars, upright slap bass and more. Music from France, Hungary, Romania, with Spanish flamenco guitar and beyond. Details found here: ChicagoGypsy.com. The Hot Club of Baltimore with Michael Joseph Harris on guitar, Connor Holdridge on guitar and Blake Meister on bass. The Gypsy Jazz Experience features Alfonso Ponticelli on guitar and mtn Dulcimer, Alex Udvary on cimbalom, Olya Prohorova on violin and vocals and John Sutton on bass.
