Alternative School presents: BOUNCE THAT with DJ Assault

BOUNCE THAT is back. Saturday night, September 19th, the fourth iteration takes over two stages at Northern Lights Lounge.

DJ Assault has been at the center of the night from the start. His accelerated funk and fast, bass heavy approach to Detroit dance music have shaped the sound of the city since the 90s and remain at the heart of what the night is about.

DJ Psycho and Fullbodydurag round out the inside. Psycho brings decades of experience and deep crates, moving across electro, funk, techno and beyond. Fullbodydurag brings a newer Detroit perspective to the night, with a fast, hard hitting approach rooted in bass, club music and ghettotech.

On the patio, Ember LaFiamma is joined by Jamea and We1sman playing together as Ebony & Ivory. Ember brings a wide ranging ear that stretches from R&B and soul into bass and club music. Jamea and We1sman come together for a high energy back to back, pulling from Jersey club, footwork, bass and ghettotech.
