Stratøs

Musical Style: Jazz, Electronic, Hip Hop, Classical Multi-award winning Los Angeles-based EWI 4000s/saxophonist, composer, producer, photographer, and cinematographer Stratøs brings his 4 years in the making masterpiece album "Challenger Deep" to Denver as a part of the official national tour. A 10-piece work for electronic chamber orchestra reimagined for a small electronic jazz band to be able to take the audience on this journey live and in person. He's assembled a cast of some of Denver's most influential musicians to help bring this sonic masterwork into the real world. Stratøs is a three-time winner of the Herb Alpert Young Jazz Composer Award from 2019-2021. Additionally, he was awarded the ASCAP Foundation’s Johnny Mandel Prize as well as being selected as a National Sawdust New Works Commission Contest winner. The latter granted the composer the opportunity to write for the world renowned JACK Quartet.
