About the concert
On Saturday, November 28, Space 92 returns to 99 Scott for another late-night session with Gray Area. The French producer steps back into the East Williamsburg warehouse with the driving, trance-inflected techno that has made him one of the genre’s most prominent names in recent years.
Behind Space 92 is Mathieu Mourareau, Beatport’s best-selling Techno Peak Time/Drive artist since 2020 and the producer behind a string of No. 1 records. His sound combines trance influences, distorted percussion and acid with flashes of nostalgia inspired in part by his fascination with vintage ’80s sci-fi. His catalog spans Drumcode, Filth on Acid, Factory 93 and Arcane, alongside collaborations with Hardwell, HI-LO and Reinier Zonneveld. His remixes for Nicole Moudaber and Layton Giordani have also reached No. 1 on Beatport.
Recent releases have kept Space 92 firmly in motion, including “Proton” with Alignment, his remix of Oxia’s “Domino,” “Dimension” on his TAKEOFF imprint, and “Free My Soul” with Vini Vici and CERES. TAKEOFF has become another home for his productions as his touring schedule continues to take him across major clubs and festivals worldwide.
Outside his solo project, Space 92 joins fellow French producer POPOF as Turbulences, a pairing that has appeared at Ultra Music Festival’s RESISTANCE stage in Miami, Ultra Brazil, Ultra Peru and CRSSD in San Diego. The project adds another chapter to a career that continues to move between solo releases, collaborations and large-scale international performances.
On November 28, Space 92 brings it back to Brooklyn and the industrial confines of 99 Scott for a night of acid, trance influence, heavy percussion and peak-time techno.
