New Feeling Co-op and Mint Records present: Sook-Yin Lee with Kylie V, Reveal Yourself, and jaye simpson

Sook-Yin Lee

“Field recordings, obsolete technologies, ambient experimentation and emotional static…At various tempos, textures and points of entry, Lee explores the idea of people searching for a truer version of themselves.” - The Globe and Mail

Kylie V

“Kylie V pulls off the masterful trick of sounding like they can name every song ever recorded by Phoebe Bridgers or Wednesday, yet somehow seems from a long-gone time when Alanis Morissette, Imogen Heap, and Juliana Hatfield ruled the 1990s cool-kids lunch table.” - The Georgia Straight

Reveal Yourself

A lo-fi freak music duo, Reveal Yourself play bubblegum-egg-punk earworms with tongue-in-cheek lyrics. Their live shows are saturated in feminist camp satire: left-field out of pocket performances for odd ducks and weirdos. Distorted looney-tuney zany fuzzy jumpy funny high energy boy girl party.

jaye simpson

jaye simpson (stylized in all lowercase) is an Oji-Cree-Saulteaux indigiqueer writer, poet, activist, and drag queen.

“she unravels the sticky threads of colonialism with poems that exact lyrical acts of self-surgery.” - CBC
