Sleepy Fest - Cattyrompus

Sleepy Fest has become an integral piece to the puzzle for Sleepy Cat Records. We’re tremendously grateful for the North Carolina community that has supported us over the years, from our first two festivals in Hillsborough, to the last two in Saxapahaw. This year, celebrating Sleepy Fest’s 5th anniversary, we’re teaming up with The Pinhook and Rubies to present Cattyrompus, a special Sleepy Fest Halloween party in downtown Durham, NC. WHAT TO EXPECT The festival will play out in 2 parts, afternoon/evening and late night. We’ll kick things off at 2pm with bands playing at both venues. At around 9pm, Pinhook trades bands for DJs, drag performers, and visual artists for a revelrous Halloween fete. Rubies is hosting their own dance party starting at 9p, ticketed separately. Durham’s favorite drag queens Naomi Dix and Stormie Daie team up to host Hell Cat Dance Party. Strut the Yard will be running a Silent Disco Soul Train to dance your way down Main St and about town! LINEUP This year’s festival will feature a blend of performances from our Sleepy Cat Artists as well as non-label artists and friends. The lineup includes folk, dance, americana, immersive electronic, drag, a puppet show, twangy punk rock, and more: Twain, Chessa Rich, Lou Hazel, Woke County Speedway, Dunums, Delver, XOXOK, Stormie Daie, Naomi Dix, DJ Tuttle Recall, DJ Lomain, Stella Rosalie Rosen, Heron Toe and more to be announced!
