Community Rave Network presents: Sharlese, Nick Schiarizzi, Christopher Michael Hefner, SVB

Summer is great and all, but… bring on the darkness please! Fast forward to Saturday September 19, when we have our next (equniox-adjacent) party at The Avalon Lounge — FYI it’s our last CRN of the year! We are making it count with the one and only SHARLESE! Yes, THAT SHARLESE — straight from Seattle. You might have heard her killing it at all your favorite clubs such as Nowies, Club Toilet, Panorama Bar, Tresor… ummm you get the idea. She brings her dark dance sets all over the world, all over the Seattle area, and on the airwaves via KEXP and Mutant Radio. Sharlese spins a web of techno, electro, new beat, EBM, italo, and all the waves — needless to say, wear your BLACKEST BLACK!

In addition to Sharlese (dream booking!!!), we welcome two other illustrious guests this month:

Nick Schiarizzi
Nick (@cherylwillruin sibling of CRN’s own @essveebeee) has been throwing parties in NYC and the world over for almost 20 years. He began as CHERYL’s head DJ, selling out Bklyn and Manhattan venues before touring with CHERYL in the UK and Europe like a band. Since then, he threw the gay art / psycho-therapy parties OWL at Julius, and is currently packing the club at his weekly @bearsareanimals at in Bklyn. Nick specializes in dark disco and dance floor delerium, and will likely B2B with SVB at some point too.

Christopher Michael Hefner
You may have heard Christopher's superb show, Night Time with Christopher Michael Hefner, on 90.7 FM WGXC. An interdisciplinary visual artist and tattooer who has been DJing in various capacities since 2003, he will be taking over the Upstairs Lounge with an extended vinyl set. Get ready for dark techno, industrial sounds, and unexpected — yet welcome — weirdness.
